Air Seeding Cover Crops Ahead of Corn Harvest

Achieving a good cover crop stand is sometimes challenging, particularly when there is a short time period to get the field seeded.

Farmers across the northern corn regions of the US have a small window of opportunity to seed their cover crops on time if they expect to achieve maximum benefits. The Sussex County Conservation District (Delaware) offers air seeding services to farmers interested in planting early and maximizing the benefits of their cover crop program. This video shows the air seeder (modified high-clearance sprayer) seeding cover crops prior to corn harvest.
Thanks to Bryan Jones, Daniel Hudson and Debbie Absher from Sussex Conservation District, DE for their kind help, their time, and dedication to make this video.
